Tempest

The Formulatrix Tempest is a flexible reagent dispenser that can dispense dilutions, factorial DOEs, and even precious samples. This high-throughput device's independent channel control over all 96 wells enables it to dispense any volume of any input into any well. CVs below 10%, a typical dead volume of 400µL, and a minimum dispense volume of 200nL with no upper limit make this an ideal instrument for high-throughput screening and precious sample dispensing.

Features of the Tempest reagent dispenser:

Fast: Dispense a 1µL, 1536-well plate in less than fourteen seconds.
Flexible: 12 ingredient inputs; supports virtually all SBS plate types; robot accessible; optional plate stacking.
Precise: Dispenses a minimum volume of 200nL.
Small: About the size of a toaster oven.
Efficient: Non-recoverable dead volume of less than 40µL; typical dead volume of less than 400µL which can be reduced to approx. 100uL using pipette tip dispensing.
State-of-the-Art: Independent channel control over all 96 nozzles; uses positive displacement instead of pressurized bottles.
