steadylite plus™ offers the same reliability and performance of our current steadylite product portfolio. Increased stability, enhanced storage conditions, and odor-free reagents make this new product the perfect choice for reporter gene assays.

steadylite plus is a homogeneous, long-lived glow high sensitivity firefly luciferase reporter gene assay kit for the quantification of firefly luciferase expression in mammalian cells. This kit is especially designed for batch-processing systems using high-density microplates such as 384- and 1536-well plates in high throughput environments. In batch-processing systems where a large number of processed plates can wait in stackers before measurement, a long signal half-life of the luminescent reaction is important. The steadylite plus system has a signal half-life of four to five hours. steadylite plus has been optimized for use in high-density microplates reducing the effects of incomplete mixing and capillary action (wicking) often seen in rounded square wells. The sensitivity is approximately 2 times greater than the long-lived glow system luclite that has been the industry standard for years.

The kit can also be used for smaller-scale sample analysis, such as 96-well plates, when higher sensitivity is required.
