The Respiratory Pathogen Array provides rapid, high sensitivity detection of up to 22 bacterial and viral respiratory pathogens simultaneously from a single patient sample. Established Biochip Array Technology has enabled the consolidation of proteomic and genomic analysis onto one platform.

Key Benefits
• Simultaneous detection of 22 viral and bacterial pathogens – saving time and cost associated with single pathogen detection
• Increased specificity through biochip hybridisation
• Semi-quantitative testing – allowing determination of primary infection
• Comprehensive profile of pathogens identifies secondary or multiple infections which may otherwise have been missed
• May prevent the spread of infection through early and more appropriate intervention
• May reduce antibiotic misuse
• Reduced sample requirements – of particular relevance to young and infirm patients
• Split panel is available – ideal if you only want viral or bacterial pathogens
• Compatible with various sample matrices
• Spatial separation on biochips allow clear diagnosis
