Good instrument if you are replacing it after 10 years.
Application Area: Detect Raman signals
"The camera is pretty easy to use and has been durable for almost 15 years, it loses its efficiency after a while though. It starts accumulating water droplets inside the CCD chip. The camera is equipped with a liquid nitrogen dewar that draws humidity and the water droplets cover the camera, rendering the camera inefficent for a long period of time (approximately 3 months). Moreover, the dewar loses its efficiency and doesn't hold the liquid nitrogen for long periods of times (from 12 hours to 6 hours of use)."

"Excellent quality instrument. Good spectral response, easy to use software. I would recommend this instrument for sensitive IR-VIS measurements. Some specifications and extra details were only available after contact with the company representative. I didn't find the company website very user-friendly though."
