The Cabinplant paddle washer is designed to wash/clean leafy vegetables such as spinach and molokhia. Cleaning includes removal of particles heavier than the product itself, e.g. sand, stones, etc.
In many cases, the washing process is split up into several steps using two or three machines, depending on capacity.
The product is flumed/paddled through the machine. The paddles ensure submersion of the leafy product during the washing process. This in combination with a controlled water stream offers an optimum washing result. The product is drained on a belt at the discharge end.
A number of stone traps ensure that sand and other foreign matters settle and can be discharged.
Option: Wash water can be collected and reused/recirculated in the washing process.
