"This is a product/service in development. Equipment doesn't log process parameters middle of the run. Or it changes set points in the middle of the run (for unknown reasons). Earthing is not good & causes wrong readouts on pH/DO/temp probes."Review date:

"It's very difficult to use this machine, generally due to interface compliance. Also, the after sales service appeared to be very poor. Nethertheless we do not see other options since this system has great functionality."Review date:

The Labfors 4 is the latest and most feature-packed version of the very successful Labfors bioreactor, from INFORS HT.
The Labfors 4 bench-scale bioreactors are available working volumes from approximately 1 to 10 litres. A wide range of configurations are possible with both single and double-jacketed vessels and a choice of drive motors.
The base unit includes with 4 high-accuracy peristaltic pumps (one pump is variable speed for fine feed control); the INFORS HT autoclavable "plug and play" pump heads simplify handling and reduce setup time.
The gas control system uses an "open frame" design allowing maximum flexibility, and can be configured for a wide range of options e.g. 1, 2, 3, or 4 gas mix, mass flow control, etc. The vessel stands on a stainless steel drip tray and is designed for easy handling and disassembly. A connector for additional analogue input/output is also integrated into the base unit for linking external sensors, pumps and analysers.
The Labfors 4 uses the latest X-DDC microprocessor controller from INFORS HT as standard. The operating panel can control up to 4 base units and can be removed or relocated as required. Navigating menus is easy and intuitive with the X-DDC rotary knob and keypad. Labfors 4 is also available with the INFORS HT colour touch screen, providing an ergonomic and intuitive user experience with enhanced functionality, including data graph and synoptic views.
