Carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O) are considered the main greenhouse gases in the Earths atmosphere. Continuous measurement of these gases provides meaningful information to track greenhouse gases emission trends and helps in the fight against climate change. Two Greenhouse Gases Analyzers based on the Agilent 7890A GC have been developed to meet the different requirements for simultaneous analysis of CH4, CO2, and N2O in air samples. Both systems can easily be expanded to determine sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and demonstrate high sensitivity with excellent repeatability
