GoScript™ Reverse Transcription System includes a reverse transcriptase and a specialized set of reagents designed for efficient synthesis of first-strand cDNA optimized for quantitative PCR amplification. The use GoScript™ Reverse Transcriptase results in high-efficiency, full-length cDNA synthesis from rare and abundant targets with up to 5 µg of RNA input. The transcription system improves the yield of cDNA even in the presence of common inhibitors such as ethanol. GoScript™ Reverse Transcriptase is qualified for use in qPCR, including GoTaq® qPCR and Plexor® qPCR systems for performing RT-qPCR.
