The JASCO ELS Detectors utilize a patented gas flow control system to remove the mobile phase with high efficiency using a short evaporation tube reducing band broadening. It also reduces the evaporation time of the mobile phase at low temperatures by adding dry gas during evaporation, maintaining very sharp chromatographic peaks.
In addition, the ELSD has an independent temperature-controlled nebulizer for excellent stability and reproducibility. The heated nebulizer eliminates precipitation of the mobile phase and provides a stable nebulization. The ELS-2040/2041 also offers the widest temperature range possible, from 10 to 120°C.
