"This is consistently one of the best LC systems for separating peptides and proteins that I have used. I especially like the touch screen display with status updates on different parts of the systems, which takes the guesswork out of any experimental problems. Thermo's support is great and responsive. Our overall discovery platform's uptime has increased since we switched from another brand's chromatography system."

"The system is more or less simple, but the global methodology is quite problematic due e.g. peek connectors do not fit adequately. Pumps are easily damaged and it increases the analyse costs. Experience is important. Alternatively, we obtained successful and robust results using minimal organic solvent amounts. Probably, the investment can be successful if you use it daily. "

"Very easy-to-use! It’s basically a plug and play system. I would say it is quite reliable if you care about it - I mean change degassed solvents, flush air before runs etc. If it breaks it may be costly (single flow sensor is about 4-5k Eur). In my opinion it is perfect for coupling to mass specs. It is even possible to run 2D separations (MudPIT) with this system but you need to have biphasic precolumns. I would recommend this system for LC-MS applications with no doubts."
