The Randox Acusera Assayed Chemistry Premium Plus Control is designed to monitor both accuracy and precision. As an assayed control target values and ranges are provided for a total of 68 parameters including a wide range of lipids, cardiac markers, therapeutic drugs, immunoassays, proteins, routine chemistries and trace metals. Electrophoresis targets are also provided as a percentage breakdown of total protein. A shelf life of up to four years ensures the same lot of control can be used for longer.
o Lyophilised for enhanced stability
o Typical Osmolality values in the level 2 control are around 300mOsm/kg and 370mOsm/kg in the level 3 control
o Method, instrument and temperature specific target values provided
o A mean of all instruments target is provided ensuring all labs, whether running a fully automated or semi-automated method have a target to compare to
o Third party control for an unbiased, independent assessment of performance
