"This instrument is very good for trace analysis of organic compounds. The sensitivity is pretty good and easy to operate. We used it to analyze PPCP (pharmaceuticals and personal care products) level in drinking water system. We also used it for the detection of the emergency contaminants like DBPs in Missouri drinking water system. Pros: high sensitivity, reliable quantification. Cons: configuration with some LC systems is very complex." |

"The system is quite stable and easy use. The sensitivity is quite good compare to the other MS systems. However, the service of manufacturer is poor and not professional. Service engineers can only do very limited jobs on the system. Most of engineers claimed the ion path will need to be pull out and cleaned totally every year. Unfortunately, they can not promise the system will be normal after cleaning it. ABSCIEX also raised the price even the system has been released more than a decade." |
