Product News: Sanyo introduce the new MDF-U32V -86°C Freezer

28 Aug 2007

SANYO E&E Europe present the MDF-U32V, the latest in the SANYO range of -86°C Freezers to use patented V.I.PTM technology.

V.I.PTM (Vacuum Insulated Panel) technology uses compressed layers of open cell foam insulation under vacuum to reduce Freezer wall thickness, resulting in compact Freezers with spacious interiors. Precious storage and laboratory space no longer needs to be wasted because of thick layers of insulation.

Whilst other V.I.PTM Freezers in our range have capacities of 519L and 728 L, the MDF-U32V has the smallest interior capacity in the range (333L or 11.8 cu.ft.). Yet, the exterior footprint remains small at only 670mm wide and 867mm deep, making it possible to fit these Freezers into even the tightest laboratory spaces.

The MDF-U32V is so compact that many Freezers can be positioned into spaces where previously fewer would fit. This can allow your laboratory to assign each individual user with a personal Freezer, giving each user convenience as well as added sample safety.

The V.I.PTM technology is not the MDF-U32V's only desirable feature. SANYO's superior cooling technology ensures the most accurate interior storage conditions possible. It's vast and concise collection of alarm functions ensures the safety of your samples is maintained. The new status alert monitors both ambient and system conditions and will notify the user of any abnormal conditions. Insulated inner doors prevent any leakage of cool air, and therefore help to maintain inner temperatures reached.

Access into the Freezer has been made simple, with the addition of a sturdy one-handed door latch.

Options available include a CO2 backup system and a chart recorder.
