Analysis of plant stanyl fatty acid esters in enriched margarine Using a Coupled LC-GC Combination

This application note presents a method for the extraction and analysis of intact plant stanyl fatty acid esters in an enriched commercial margarine using an on-line coupled Agilent 1220 Infinity LC-7890A GC system. The lipid extract is directly analyzed without prior purification steps. This method enables very good linearity and repeatability.
