Targeted Mutation Profiling of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Samples using the Sequenom Lungcarta™ Panel for Clinical Research
30 May 2013

Lung cancer is a highly heterogeneous disease and more biologically complex than previously thought. As cancer researchers further characterize individual tumors based on molecular profiles, it is essential to interrogate more than a single gene at a time. In this application note it is demonstrated that the LungCarta Panel provides a targeted, mid-density research panel for cost-effective and rapid analysis. Key somatic mutations in previously annotated genes and pathways such as EGFR, KRAS, and BRAF can be rapidly confirmed against larger sample numbers.
