Detection of contamination in DNA and protein samples by photometric measurements

This Application Note describes how the Eppendorf BioPhotometer® D30 can be used to quantify protein and DNA in order to measure protein contamination in a DNA solution. The ‘Purity Scan’ function can be used to graphically display the absorbance properties of a sample.
