Sensitive LC/MS Quantitation of Trace Organic Contaminants in Water with Online SPE Enrichment

This application note describes an online SPE Trace enrichment method that requires minimal sample preparation and significantly reduces the volume of sample required. This UHPLC/MS/MS method uses a reusable polymeric solid phase extraction cartridge that is attached online to an Agilent 1290 Infinity LC System, which in turn is coupled to an Agilent 6460 LC/MS Triple Quadrupole system. Results demonstrate robust and sensitive detection of ng/L levels of trace organic contaminants.
