In the quest for the world's best beer, every brewer knows that quality beer begins with the meticulous examination and handling of ingredients, as well as the yeast culture strain. Aseptic techniques create a barrier between the contaminants in the environment and the sterile culture cell, and many brewers create positive pressure enclosures as a simple solution to this problem. This application note presents Air Science laminar flow hoods as high efficiency cabinets, ideally suited for use with non-hazardous contaminants where flexible access to the work zone is required.
