Porcelain Clay Analysis using the STA 8000

This application note demonstrates successful use of the STA 8000 Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer in elucidating the processes taking place during the firing of clay. The technique described demonstrates a viable tool for commercial ceramics formulators and users to better understand the firing processes and to control the quality of the raw materials.
