Multi-color Immunofluorescence in Brain Tissue Using Primary Antibodies Raised in the Same Host Species

22 Nov 2011

A novel technique for triple-label immunofluorescence IHC is described in this application note. The technique includes modification of one primary antibody with biotin and a second primary antibody with DIG. This technique from R and D systems provides good spectral separation of colors depicting different antigens of interest, and provides significant convenience to researchers who have at their disposal only primary antibodies raised in the same host species.
