Analysis of Nuclear Stained Cells: Using the Cytation™3 Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Microplate Reader with DAPI-Stained Cells
23 Apr 2013

The imaging and analysis of fluorescently stained cells has traditionally been accomplished using manual microscopic methods with low numbers of samples, while the analysis of higher sample numbers requires the use of very expensive dedicated microscopes. This application note demonstrates digital fluorescence microscopy using the Cytation™3, a novel imaging multi-mode microplate reader capable of both whole well intensity measurements using a PMT detection and digital inverted microscopy with a CCD detection.
