Application Note: Relative Viscosity Measurement using the UNit
8 February 2017

In this application note demonstrates the use of the UNit to screen relative viscosities of samples in a high throughput manner. Here the UNit is used to measure the fluorescent signal of varying viscosity solutions of CCVJ (9-(2-Carboxy-2-cyanovinyl)julolidine), showing that integrated fluorescence increases with viscosity. This article highlights the key benefits of the UNit, including its ability to run many samples in a short space of time and measure the stability parameters Tm and Tagg simultaneously, using only a small amount of sample.
