Targeted Metabolomics Analysis of Cell Culture Lysates using the AbsoluteIDQ p180 kit

This application note describes a cell preparation method for preparing lysates from lymphoblast cells with and without treatment by ionizing radiation. The analytical performance of the AbsoluteIDQ kit from Biocrates Life Sciences is evaluated with regards to detectability of metabolites and reproducibility. The assay was performed using a combined high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and mass spectrometry-based flow injection analysis (FIA) method.
