Rapid Analysis of Inks on Paper by Viewing FTIR-ATR Spectroscopy

This study was conducted to illustrate a rapid and convenient technique for the comparison of different inks on paper. The infrared chemical signatures of three different inks on paper were compared, and the inks were differentiated. The method is non-destructive, and requires no sample preparation.
