QuEChERS, an acronym for Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged and Safe, is a sample extraction and clean-up technique widely used for the analysis of multiple residues in hydrated agricultural products. 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid is a common systemic pesticide used in the control of broadleaf weeds. This application note by UCT provides a protocol for the use of QuEChERS in the extraction and analysis of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and other acidic pesticides.
