Preventing Thrombus Formation/Platelet Adhesion to Fibrinogen Using VenaFlux Platform

This application note investigates a range of novel thermoresponsive polymers designed to be used in dual drug-eluting systems in coating stents. Using Cellix’s biochips and Mirus pumping system, platelet adhesion to fibrinogen treated with xemilofiban and fluvastatin eluted from thermoresponvice copolymers and how this effected thrombus formation is investigated.
