Measurement of Antiviral Responses by in vivo Imaging of Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Infection in Mice

In this application note the effect of NK cell depletion on viral infection is investigated. NK cells are part of the innate immune system and are especially important in controlling CMV numbers early upon infection. Combining bioluminescence imaging with X rays enables precise co-localization of the virus.
