Identification of Steroids in Urine and Plasma by LC/MS/MS Using strata™X and Gemini™ C18

15 Jul 2012

This application note describes a specific, sensitive and accurate method for detection of steroid usage using the strata-X and Gemini C18. The method described enables detection by either UV or MS depending on the sensitivity required for the application with excellent cleanup and virtually no column bleed. SPE using strata-X enables rapid cleanup of steroids from urine and plasma samples. The quantitative and reproducible recovery of steroids provides an accurate determination of steroid levels in complex sample matrices.
