Factors Influencing Multiplex Real-Time PCR

Multiplex PCR is the simultaneous amplification of more than one target sequence in a single reaction. Specifically, duplex PCR is the amplification of two target sequences in one reaction, triplex PCR is the amplification of three targets, and so on.
