Development of a Screening Analysis by LC Time-Of-Flight MS for Drugs of Abuse

The screening for drugs of abuse in human samples has relevance in much of today’s society; employers, police and prison officials, and forensic pathologists all rely on the accuracy of drug screening. This application note provides an overview of the power of the Agilent TOF mass spectrometer for the screening and confirmation analysis of drugs of abuse. The TOF mass spectrometer provides accurate mass determinations (<3 ppm) with good linearity proving its use as an excellent tool for the detection, confirmation, and quantitation of different drug classes.
