Application Note: Determination of kLa Values of Single-Use Bioreactors

Single-use bioreactors are increasingly used in research, process development, and production. Like conventional reusable systems they have to allow the setup of optimal growth conditions. DECHEMA published guideline for kLa-determination to help users objectively compare the performance of bioreactors in terms of oxygen transfer, here we summarize these guidelines.
