This application note presents a method for determining fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) in Salmon oil using automated sample preparation. This method uses the Agilent 7696A Sample Prep WorkBench, which enables sample preparation runtime to be reduced to just 20 minutes. Automated sample derivatization is easy, fast and significantly more reliable than manual procedures.
