The Te-PoolSafe is a state-of-the-art module for safe and reliable pooling of blood for subsequent PCR-based testing. The Te-PoolSafe ensures that the correct volumes of every sample have been included in each pool of blood samples, with results backed-up using documented evidence. Automated pooling yields more walk-away time whilst providing accurate and unambiguous results; crucial where limited blood donations are considered. This application note evaluates the use of the Te-PoolSafe Option for automation of blood pooling.
