Application of Real-Time Decay Curve Analysis to Fluorescence Lifetime Assays - An Attractive Addition to Drug Discovery Technologies

As a result of significant improvements in assay reagents and availability of HTS-compatible readers, fluorescence lifetime technology (FLT) has recently gained new appeal as a screening technology in the drug discovery industry. In this scientific poster FLT is demonstrated to be a powerful reporting modality for homogeneous enzyme and ligand binding assays. The FLEXYTE™ assay platform from Almac, used in combination with the ameon™ microplate reader from TTP Labtech, is shown to have exceptional promise as a reliable and cost-effective solution for compound profiling and HTS applications.
