Analysis of an Opioid Peptide Dermorphin in Equine Urine using EVOQ Elite LC-MS/MS System

Dermorphin, a naturally occurring heptapeptide, is a potent analgesic and a Class I prohibited substance in horse racing. In this application note dermorphin in equine urine was quantified on an EVOQ™ Elite model LC triple quadrupole mass spectrometer from Bruker Daltonics. Accurate quantification from 0.05 to 100ng/mL was easily achieved.
