Accurate Quantitative Analysis of Ferrosilicon by the Fusion Method Using ZSX PrimusIII
17 Jan 2013

Ferrosilicon is one of the most basic materials in the steel making process. Iron alloys with a silicon content between 15 to 90% are called “ferrosilicon”. To control the steel making process, analyses of slag and raw materials such as quicklime are also required. This application note describes the accurate ferrosilicon analysis using the Rigaku ZSX PrimusIII+, which is optimized for steel making and ferrosilicon production process control.
