Microsatellite Analysis of Cancer Tissue

Microsatellites consist of repeats of 1–6 bp sequences located throughout the genome. Usually stable in normal tissues, small deletions or expansions of the microsatellites occur in cancer tissues. This application note demonstrates the use of flatbed electrophoresis for microsatellite analysis of cancer tissue.
