Detection Limit of SuperBlue™ Ultra Coomassie Stain
2 May 2014

Protea’s SuperBlue Ultra Coomassie Stain provides excellent sensitivity for detecting and visualizing SDS-PAGE gel-separated proteins. High-sensitivity band detection often requires harsh chemicals (e.g., heavy metals) or UV detection to enhance sensitivity, but SuperBlue Ultra offers a rapid, highly sensitive, and biosafe alternative. This document demonstrates SuperBlue Ultra Coomassie Stain’s 4 ng detection limit.
