"We use BioRad 1D and 2D gel formats for our protein and peptide analysis. The results are consistently good and of higher resolution than other gels. We use 8-16% Tris-HCl for SDS PAGE and two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and 18% Tris-HCl for peptides with unprecedented reproducibility. Gradients are always uniform laterally across the gel so that it is possible to reliably differentiate very minor MW differences between proteins."
