Just awesome! It is worth paying for this sealer.
Application Area: Sealing qPCR plates and ELISA plates
"I use these to run a lot of PCR and qPCR, and obviously, we need to buy sealer frequently, which is kind of expensive. So our lab manager manages to get some cheap sealers. I had always trouble using the sealer, sometimes it does not stick well, often I get wrinkle/s in the plastic sealing. But Bio-Rad sealer is just awesome. It is worth paying for this product."
Choose from a wide range of pressure, adhesive, and heat-sealing films and foils for PCR plates and other microplates including:
This optical sealing film features a strong adhesive that's effective from –40 to 110°C, providing secure plate sealing during cycling and sample storage. The Microseal B Plate Seal is ideal for qPCR and NGS library preparation.
Use Microseal F Foil Seals for thermal cycling, NGS library preparation, and sample storage. This seal remains effective down to –70°C, making ideal for cold storage. Its peelable and pierceable features enable easy sample retrieval.

Chill-out Liquid Wax provides an excellent vapor barrier that may be used instead of mineral oil in thermal cyclers without heated lids. After cycling, the tubes are chilled below 10°C to harden the wax. The solid layer protects samples from spills or aerosol formation but is easy to penetrate with a pipet tip for sample retrieval.
Note: Chill-out Wax is not recommended for sealing Microseal 384-Well PCR Plates.
The semi-automated PX1 PCR Plate Sealer delivers reliable uniform sealing of a range of seal types on different styles of microplates. This programmable sealer minimizes sample evaporation and provides consistency.
