Patch ready cells are frozen aliquots of highly functional cell lines expressing human ion channels from the Comprehensive in vitro Proarrhythmia Assay (CiPA) panel licensed by b’sys, Switzerland. The recovered PRCs can be used in patch clamp assay without prior cultivation to assess the cardiac risk potential of drug candidates. PRCs are provided at 5 million cells per vial together with recovery buffer and patch buffer medium.
