"My work is pipetting most of the day and I have at least 4 different brands of pipettes in my flow cabinet, but ever since I bought the Evolve pipettes the others are out of a job. They use the GripTips, which assure accuracy and they are so light to handle. Changing the volume is a breeze because each decimal has its own easy to change dial. Using the 1 mL pipette for passing 200 clones won't wear out your hand and arm muscles. The 5 mL pipette, the one you didn't know you need until you have it, is a great addition to the set and the 20 uL pipette with its perfect 12.5 uL GripTip is the best I've ever used to pick colonies when doing a gene targeting project. There is honestly no reason to have any other brand once you have these."

I constantly need to change the setting of my pipette when performing testing in the laboratory (for instance, from 150 to 200 to 100 to 150 and then 80). This can get irritating, and also stressful, especially when there is a high workload and pressure for time. "I have been a user of Rainin pipettes for years but recently got a chance to try out the EVOLVE pipettes from Integra. At first use, it took a little getting used to because it is a different way of adjusting volumes. Once I got used to them which was very quick, I thought they were very innovative. Basically, instead of adjusting volumes with one knob like the Rainin, the EVOLVE incorporates three dials on the handle that allows you to adjust the volumes based on each digit. This allows much quicker adjustment from extreme volume ranges. They are also very light for ergonomic purposes. These are definitely one of the best investments for the lab."
