I have used the Sartorius iQue screener since 2015 and performed number of different experiments with the instrument over the years. These experiments have included optimization of a multi-color immunophenotypic screening of primary cancer cells against a focused library of 40 compounds. In my institute, we initially used iQue HD, which has two lasers, but quite soon started using the iQue Plus. The first generation instrument (iQue HD) had lots of issues and was often shipped back for repairs. Quite recently the HD was discontinued. The newer version is much more robust and besides occasional clogs in the probe and tubing, the machine is working perfectly. Moreover, the Forecyt software has constantly evolved and keeps getting better. I especially like the intuitiveness of the software interface. Regardless, the the software is still relatively young and has some drawbacks regarding data visualization, which I'm sure will improve over the next couple of years.
