Product News: BINDER Now Offers MKF 720 Environmental Simulation Chamber with Regulated Compressed-Air Dryer

31 Oct 2013

From prototypes to the finished production model, materials and products from all areas of industry are subjected to ever more complex material load testing today. At the same time, the requirements imposed on the temperature and humidity stability of materials is getting ever more demanding. For this reason, BINDER has now added the optional function of regulated compressed-air drying to its MKF 720 environmental simulation chamber. The unit will be introduced for the first time in Munich at productronica, the trade fair for innovative electronics production.

The MKF has been developed for demanding alternating climate profiles. Compressed-air drying expands the climate range of the unit. This is particularly important to meet the standards required by industry. Compressed-air drying makes dynamic temperature and humidity changes possible and is thus particularly well-suited for the automotive industry in delineating the required standards such as the VW standard. Difficult test scenarios are such as 0°C at 30% RH are often implemented. Such scenarios are not a problem for the MKF 720 with compressed-air drying. The compressed-air dryer can be used to realize dew points down to -30 °C. The specified temperatures and humidity values are rapidly achieved and accurately maintained.

Temperature ranges of -40 °C to +180°C are no problem for the MKF. Ideally suited for cold and heat testing according to current temperature and climate test standards, the environmental simulation chambers from BINDER are the basis for reliable material testing at the highest technical level. BINDER's focus has always been on the continuous expansion and development of the product portfolio to recognize and accurately adapt to the needs of the customer. In addition to the MKF 720 environmental simulation chamber with compressed-air dryer, therefore, BINDER offers specialist chambers for alternating climate profiles in different temperature ranges. The units are also available without a humidification system. In addition, units of all product groups can be customized by BINDER for special requirements on the customer side. From November 12th - 15th, visitors can obtain individual advice from experts on site at the BINDER booth at productronica (Hall A2, Booth 161).
