Pall Life Sciences, a division of Pall Corporation, is preparing to showcase key components of the biopharmaceutical portfolio at the upcoming BPI 2015 event. Pall will be located in booth 309 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, October 26-29, with experts on hand to discuss advances that continuously improve bioprocesses for customers.

A host of updated and new portfolio products will be on display at the booth.  Particular focus is being placed on the unmatched continuous solutions Pall has available for downstream processing support, including:

  • The disruptive Acoustic Wave Separation technology for cell-culture clarification in either fed-batch or perfusion applications
  • A preview of Pall’s latest advance in depth filtration: Stax™ Depth Filters with Hyperion Flow technology, for direct mammalian cell harvest with a new filter to remove cells and cellular debris effectively and efficiently
  • The award-winning Cadence™ Inline Concentrator single-pass tangential flow filtration system for direct flow-through and in-process volume reduction in an integrated or stand-alone format
  • The recently introduced BioSMB® System for single-use or multicolumn continuous chromatography featuring a disposable flow path with a proprietary integrated valve cassette to service up to 16 columns or devices

Pall will also highlight key analytical and single-use products at the event, including the new Octet® K2 System for small-scale protein characterization in research and discovery phase; the PadReactor® Mini bioreactor, with maximum 13L working volume; and the Palltronic® Flowstar LGR test instrument for point-of-use leak testing of single-use configurations up to 200L in 15 minutes. Additionally, the new gamma-irradiated packaging for SoloHill® Microcarriers; recently introduced animal-protein-free, rigid, spherical SoloHill Star-Plus Microcarriers with a net positive charge; and the Allegro™ Microcarrier Delivery System for process simplification will be available for inquiries.

On the final day, Thursday, October 29 at 12:05 p.m. in Room 210, Pall will round out the event with a look into the future of continuous bioprocessing.
