Scientists across the world are being encouraged to put forward their suggestions for the Best New Life Sciences Product in the annual SelectScience® Scientists’ Choice Awards®.
Each year, laboratory scientists working in life sciences are invited to take part in the Scientists’ Choice Awards by nominating the new product, instrument, service or consumable that has made the most difference to their research in 2017. Now in their 11th year, these coveted awards aim to showcase and celebrate the very best in the business and have gone from strength to strength over the past decade, attracting more votes and nominations than ever before.
Why nominate? A Scientists’ Choice Award will give your favorite product the recognition it deserves, as well as spreading the word to your fellow scientists to help them purchase the best lab equipment, enabling them to achieve better research outcomes and accelerating scientific progress. Additionally, all nominations and votes are entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a $500/£400/450 €Amazon voucher!
Nominations for this year's top Life Sciences product or service close on March 5, 2018, when nominations will be shortlisted. Scientists will then be invited for final voting from March 12. The winner of the Scientists' Choice Award for the Best New Life Sciences Product of 2017 will be announced during a party the 2018 AACR Annual Meeting in Chicago, USA.
At AACR last year, ProteinSimple was awarded Best New Life Sciences Product of 2016 for its Milo Single-Cell Westerns. Also shortlisted for the award were products from BD Biosciences, MilliporeSigma, Molecular Devices, Olympus & ZEISS Microscopy.
Other previous winners of the Scientists’ Choice Award for Best New Life Science product of the year include the Synergy™ Neo2 Multi-Mode Reader by BioTek Instruments, Inc., ZEISS LSM 880 with Airyscan by ZEISS Microscopy and the QX200™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System (186-4001) by Bio-Rad.
