Application Note: Simultaneous Detection of 12 Phosphorylated and 7 Total Proteins Using the Bio-Plex Suspension Array System

Protein phosphorylation plays important roles in signal transduction, from activation of cell surface receptors to activation of transcription factors. To study intracellular signal transduction, it is important to detect the phosphorylation state of a target protein, which is directly related to its activity. This application note describes the performance of two types of multiplex assay panels, which have been validated with carious cell lysates by correlation with western blots.
