Application Note: LC-MS/MS Chiral Separation of “d” and “l” Enantiomers of Amphetamine and Methamphetamine
7 May 2014
Chiral analysis in drug detection has become increasingly important over the past decade. Traditional screening methods for the detection of amphetamines include immunoassays and GC-MS. This application note from AB-SCIEX describes an LC-MS/MS method that allows the separation of racemic amphetamine and methamphetamine to allow the accurate quantification of the individual enantiomeric forms.
