Knock-out (KO) cell lines are powerful tools to study disease mechanisms and the effect of gene disruption in signaling pathways. Using a KO cell line of a TRAIL death receptor, this application note demonstrates how you can use KO cell lines to investigate the relationship between gene and phenotype.
