An important application of scanning electron microscopy is the study of liquid water interactions with materials. To image liquid water, it is useful to cool specimens to just above 0°C, so that water vapour pressure is minimized. This application note describes the integrated cool-stage module of the EVO series, by Zeiss Microscopy.
